What is the Control Distance / Flying Range of the drones?

We recommend operating the drone within line-of-sight within 30 meters approximately, to prevent control loss (though claimed range is higher)

Do I need a Drone Pilot license to fly Picoq Labs Drones

As per DGCA guidelines, nano drones (within 250 grams) do not require a remote pilot license. All our drones are less than 180 grams so you can fly them worry free.

How long does the battery last?

Please expect 8-10 minutes of Flying time in a single charge.

What if I don't receive the product after payment?

We are a GST registered entity bound by law, Payment Gateways and third party service providers do not allow such fradulent practices. Your money will be refunded if the product was lost in transit / if we have received the payment & could not ship your product.

You can use Cash-on-Delivery option too.

What do I do if I received a Defective product?

What is Headless mode?

A headless mode options allows you to lock the direction of flight of the drone irrespective of the drone's heading direction for ease-of-control.

Are the drones suitable for indoor/ outdoor use?

Do not operate in cramped indoor conditions as spinning propellers may cause damage to appliances, pets or children. Do not operate in windy days as drone might struggle to stay stable.

It is recommended to practice outdoors in calm weather before you unleash yourself to the skies :D

What is the Significance of Brushless Motors?

BLDC motors operate contactless and have a bearing for support which makes them super efficient unlike the brushed / coreless motors which use friction based brushes for conduction and rotation.

If buying a drone we recommend strongly to buy only a brushless motor drone, irrespective of the platform.

If Brushless Motors have a clear advantage why Brushed/coreless motors are still used?

Only reason is price. A Brushless motor is 3x-4x higher in cost as it requires dedicated ESC and miniature bearing for each motor. If you have a budget constraint and wish to settle for a cheaper drone - better save that few bucks too, because buying a non-brushless motor is equal to not buying a drone.

What is the suitable age for operating toy drones?

Toy drones are suitable for kids aged 14 and above.
